Hi everyone, I've been using Finasteride as a 'topical' hair loss treatment for a little while now, but I haven't been able to get the'real' version of it, as I'm still looking for a solution that will work for me.

My scalp has been receding for a year now, and my hair looks pretty thin as I get it up to my scalp. I am now losing the "normal" amounts of my hair as it grows back, although the total amount of my hair is less than I thought it was. I have a very small area of skin in the scalp, and I can see it getting darker in color. I think the only thing I should be doing is applying some of the hair I'm losing to the area, even though the hair is still there. I'm looking at trying a new shampoo, and I'm just wondering if it would be worth the effort. Anyone have any experience with this? Any help is welcome

Thanks again

Best Regards

Hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors, some of which are age, hair loss, stress, exercise, certain medications, certain health conditions and/or medications you might be taking. Your scalp is the one area where Finasteride works best for you, but that may not be the case for everyone. If it's something that could be causing your hair loss, that's important to be aware of. If you're taking Finasteride, the only other things you should be doing are moisturising and treating hair loss.

Hair loss can also be caused by various other medical conditions, some of which may be genetic and/or can have other causes. I can understand that, as the hair can fall out even more easily if you're a man. However, there's a very good reason to stop taking Finasteride - it's all about keeping your head above the legal level.

If you're concerned about your hair loss, it's important to speak with your GP to get a clear picture of the underlying causes of your hair loss. Your hair will be back in good condition and you'll need to keep trying to prevent further loss. But, if the cause of your hair loss is anything to go by, it's important to speak to a specialist, as Finasteride can be dangerous in some people.

I'll be trying something different next week, as I'm going to start on my first new shampoo with the new hair-growing tips, and have to test out the effects of the new shampoo first before starting with the new hair loss tips. If you're interested in learning more about the changes that you can expect to see with Finasteride and what to do next, please send me an email and I'll be happy to help you.

I'm not aware of any changes that have been made to my hair. I was hoping to start with a shampoo that would not cause any side effects at all, but I am worried that I might not get any results. I've tried the new hair loss tips on my hairline, and it has been fine. But if I do get a reaction to my new shampoo, it's not clear to me that it will work.

Thanks!

I appreciate your advice.

Hi,

I've been prescribed Finasteride as a Topical hair loss treatment, but my hair has been receding so much, that I've not even considered trying an 'original' solution. I've been taking it at a very low dose for two years now, and I have a thin, sensitive scalp. I'm trying a new shampoo that I think could be treating the thinness and receding hair loss. I'm not sure, but the shampoo can help with the receding hair, and the results are very impressive. The only difference is that I can see the bald spots on my hairline. I'm thinking maybe I'll try a shampoo that has more control on my receding hair, or just use some natural hair loss treatments like I've seen before.
